Blade of the Ruined King Passive vs Bloodrazor Passive?

I like numbers. So I was trying to figure out which one brought more benefit, Blade of the Ruined King or blue smite Bloodrazor. Bloodrazor has a constant 4% max HP damage, and Blade of the Ruined King has 8% current HP? So I made a little chart that shows how much % max HP damage Blade of the Ruined King does, at what % current HP you have. Basically, for every 5% HP more you have, Blade of the Ruined King does .4% max HP damage.

%HP = %MaxHP damage from BoTRK 100 = 8% 95 = 7.6% 90 = 7.2% 85 = 6.8% 80 = 6.4% 75 = 6% 70 = 5.6% 65 = 5.2% 60 = 4.8% 55 = 4.4% 50 = 4% 45 = 3.6% 40 = 3.2% 35 = 2.8% 30 = 2.4% 25 = 2.0% 20 = 1.6% 15 = 1.2% 10 = .8% 5 = .4%

So basically, assuming that only the passive damage from both items is being dealt, no autoattack damage or ability damage, etc, over the course of a fight, they both will even out to 4% max health damage over the course of a fight? Nope. The passives are not equal. If only the passive damage is dealt each hit, the damage will look like this, in total %HP left after each hit. These calculations ALSO assume there is no armor.

(Forgive any rounding errors please)

BoTRK | Bloodrazor

100 | 100 92 | 96 84.64 | 92 77.87 | 88 71.64 | 84 65.91 | 82 60.64 | 78 55.79 | 74 51.33 | 72 47.22 | 68 43.44 | 64 39.96 | 60 36.76 | 56

I stopped calculating here. However, the BoTRK seems superior for a majority of the time, ASSSUMING there is only the passive damage, and the enemies have no armor.

Just remember, any conclusions made off this though may be inaccurate because it assumes there is no armor and leaves out a ton of other variables that can influence it. I like Bloodrazor because it's cheap and adds some damage but Blade seems to do a much better job as an item... less autos to pump out more damage initially.

Also tell me if I made any mistakes too, I would love to know. I just posted this because I thought it might be interesting to know. Thanks! Also, post what you think about Blade of the Ruined King and Bloodrazor. Which is superior in your eyes?

Bloodrazor is better for being cheaper and letting me go into tankier items sooner.

Bork leaves me too squishy, generally.

I'm just here to say that fact that you left out armor is irrelevant. Both items do purely physical damage so they will be effected by armor/armor penetration equally. The only way it would make a difference is if both/one of the items had armor penetration or did magic damage in some way. Then calculating armor would matter in this calcuation.
