It feels unfair to have a fresh level 30 account trying ranked for the first time on your team.

Very frequently I get matched with a player that just got to level 30 and is playing his first couple of ranked games when I am in high silver/low gold elo. Supposedly, according to op.gg, being in silver 1 I am ranked higher than 70% of players in the NA server. Why is it that somebody with very low understanding of the game presumably from lack of experience gets matched with the top 30 percent of players to determine his level and place him in his appropriate elo. Often this results in low quality games that with clearly unbalanced teams where the unranked player does very poorly and the team is hard pressed to carry him. I propose they get matched with low silver/high bronze or possibly even lower. Maybe it should be wherever the 50% percent mark is. Thoughts?

Who are they supposed to play with? I mean seriously, this isnt a good argument. They need to start ranked sometime.

And a level 30 account isnt a "new player".

But statistically speaking they are also performing around your level (which is about silver 3/2)

Some, presumably others who have had to climb out of silver, seem to understand my plight. Most are saying the same thing everybody answers to any low elo concern about matchmaking: "you aren't actually that much better than them lol, thats why you got matched with them". To put it in perspective for you guys, games where this happens are very similar to games in high elo with a player who very clearly bought their account somewhere, or paid somebody to boost it. This person is completely out of place and it is obvious to everybody in the game. This is a legitimate concern in League of Legends, however, when it happens in low elo its "Get good kid". The placement system is clearly flawed in this aspect and it is leading to low quality and unbalanced games.
