League of Tanks

Is never fun. I've been playing this game for three years now, and whenever the meta shifts to this tank garbage it seems the whole game becomes absolutely awful. You can't kill anyone, and all the tanks in this game are allowed to do damage and have hard CC and engage. So... not sure what one does, when, as a full AP mage with a lot of pen you can't outdamage or "shred" tanks the way you're supposedly supposed to (I'm thinking as Azir here). Does anyone else feel that tank meta just feels terrible? What the heck is the counterplay to Cho Gath right now, in all seriousness. Where is the counterplay to an enormous unkillable CC sustain tank that runs up to you to deal 1500 true damage. I mean... What? Who actually approved that mini rework? This whole season has been extremely frustrating, quite frankly. League has sort of ceased to be fun. I had taken about a 4 month hiatus, maybe I need to do it again, until the balance team figures some stuff out...
