I made a post along time ago asking why people are complaining about Riven back when the entire boards was filled with Riven posts. Now all I see is NERF THRESH posts? Why do people just randomly complain about champs that aren't even OP? Thresh is one of the best supports but he is no where near BROKEN. Thresh is one of the most balanced champs right now and people are saying nerf? Lol I just don't understand the posts I see any more.
Dreadlocks3 votesThe trend is, lets QQ about X champion because we cant counter them in hopes of them getting nerfed. If that champion doesn't get nerfed within id say... 2 patches? They try another champ to QQ and get nerfed. =]

Predatore3 votesThresh is like the healthiest champ to play against.... A hook that immobilizes you but doesnt pull you straight into a turret(BIG COOLDOWN EARLY GAME). A flay that can be used for some decent peel. A lantern to save the adc and a ult that simply slows and damages the first person. He doesnt have a huge stun like morg, not a pull to bring you into the turret (unless your close). Hes pretty balanced out.
Kledy McKledFace2 votesProblem with thresh is that he actually is OP. Most people don't see it because he doesnt get 45 kills everygame. This guy has just too much in his kit with a decent damage. Think about it : Hook for 1.5 seconds (and yourr moved) then knock air bone for 0.5 seconds then slow for 1.5 seconds then 99% slow for 2 seconds.. Its 5.5 seconds CC while hes tanky af and his first hit on e can deal 200% of his ad (usually if you want an aggressive lane early game youll run with like 6-8 ad on thresh, this is what Lemonnation does). His early damage potential is hi because nobody is tanky except braum and late game he has idiot low cooldowns on his abilites. He also grants a shield with an escape that is way better than flash because it doesnt matter if you are rooted itll grab you anyway.
Finally hes been top 3 support since he was out but only 1 nerf jsut a little bit (annie massively nerfed, braum very bad when he was out, morgana huge nerfs on her, karma full rework that destroyed her support role and tahm needed major buffs too, also Bard kept getting buffs since he was out, alistar was always trash until they overly buffed him to nerf him after and nautilus before his mana rework he was bad too). But thresh? no touch to his hi mana, neither his low cooldowns. His only nerfs he received were on his souls (lower rewards but its so bugged it doesnt matter) and his dark passage shield (2 people max included himself)
Fatalitý1 votesI don't understand by what you mean " Most people don't see it because he doesn't get 45 kills every game." Any ways yes, he has high CC he is a Utility/Tank support. For one though if you don't get hit by his Q then most of the CC won't happen. Usually you can see his Q coming because it is a slow animation unlike Blitzcrank's Q. Also other supports like Braum, Leona and Even Blitz out damage him in lane and they are all tankier while easier to play. His lantern has a high cooldown but wouldn't you agree that Tahm's W is more annoying that a Thresh lantern? Any ways my point is that he isn't as OP as most people make him sound.
Kledy McKledFace1 votesYou cant compare thresh w to tahm because tahm needs to get into melee range to apply his escape. Thresh can do it 1 screen away and gives a shield. You may not be able to hit the enemy tahm is eating (his ally) but it doesnt make him invulnarable (ignite it before tahm eats the ignite damage will still apply inside himself just try to eat tibbers with tahm the tibbers' passive apply on tahm --> bug? idk i didnt received response to my questions)

Sinister Mars1 votesThis is somewhat unrelated, but how can there be so few "most balanced" champions in the game? There's a couple that are broken, a few that are balanced, and then 60%+ that are garbage.

YCitizenSnipsY1 votesPeople complain about whats popular, QQ for a champion works just like FoTM works. The main indication of balance on the boards seems to be directly related to how popular a champion is. Like you said the Riven QQ was a month ago, why is it not still as prevalent even though the boards were never successful with their witch hunt to get Riven nerfed? Other champions became just as popular and the boards switched to complaining about them.
