Void Staff/Last Whisper Changes and Fighter Rework are long overdue

Two seasons riot has promised they'd address these issues. Two. Whole. Seasons. In Season 4, Riot literally reworked every single branch of itemization (marksmen, support, mage, tank) except fighter items.

Now since season 5 preseason is a great time for massive changes like this, I figured it'd be good to make a post about what exactly should be changed. I feel like it'd be better for the game in the long run if Void Staff and Last Whisper were just blatantly removed and resist items had their resists toned down by a value somewhere in the middle of 0-35%. This would make it so resist rushes early/mid game weren't so powerful but tank items won't lose about 40% of their value late game.
