Double Tear + Ryze

One of Ryze's fun builds was double Tear. Due to the Ezreal double tear nerf this fun Ryze build also got hammered as collateral damage.

Can you allow Ryze to buy double Tear again?

Just delete Ezreal tbh, the one champ that ruins so many items due to his q applying on-hit effects.

They could always allow his Q to crit.

Well, the passives were unique to begin with, so how did they stack?

Stack one fully and then it changes into the completed item getting rid of the unique passive so then you can start stacking the next one.

Yeah so then what is the practicality of wasting all of that time charging up a second tear when you could better spend your money on items that can help you better like Rod of Ages?

It used to be item 3070 > item 3027 > item 3040 > item 3004 and he has mana ratios so it was very effective at the time when games lasted late.

Never in my 5 years playing this game seen a Ryze build a Manamune.

It used to be able to be situationally built over Seraph's when it did magic damage on release, because all of his spells were single target at the time, which made muramana a massive damage spike for him that still had synergy with his penetration options.

It was changed to Physical damage in patch 3.5 though, so... it didn't last all that long regardless.

i really liked the fun builds. in my opinion, nidalee and jayce both had good use of dual tear. it obviously wasn't optimal, and i get that, but it feels unjust to ban fun builds because of a single champion becoming too advantageous. it just seems intuitively, it makes more sense to change that 1 champion that may be overtuned than to pass a summary ban on the combo for all champions.
