Suggestions for some champs I should play?

Hi, I'm a lowly bronzie hoping to expand his champion pool, I am a mid lane main and I am a HUGE fan of heavy teamfight controling champs such as Azir Viktor Xerath and am looking for suggestions on other very heavy teamfighting mages. Please do not suggest Assassins as I do not play them, I preferably like champions that scale very well and do not fall off late game.
