A new change for the LP system.
I really don't want to come off complaining, but I need to get a little bit of stuff off of my chest. I went 4-6 in placements, with some great performances in some of those loses, and got bronze 5. I immediately die inside. I start playing some ranked, and now have taken 7 loses in a row. And the thing is, I was performing really well in these loses, and couldn't carry. 0 LP, Just what I wanted!
But now that that is out of the way, I want to talk about what I think should happen. I feel the LP system is decent, giving you more LP for wins less to lose for losses. But the thing is, what if you just can't carry? I have had this happen to 3 games in a row, where I didn't feed, had high assist totals, and my grades averaged out to around a B+. But I lose LP for this? I think the LP lost should be significantly lower if you are doing good in these loses, or heck, even giving them a bit of LP if they got an A or above teammate grade or something like that. I know this is a bit of a crazy analogy, but think of professional sports. Recently, in the NBA (american basketball league) a guy went and dropped 70 points (a lot) and was still recognized for his achievement. So what if we have a kda of 10/1/30 and lose the game? Do we deserve to lose LP for that? LirA in the NA LCS has had some amazing games, and is on the worst team in the league, is he still recognized? Most definitely!
So my point is, why don't we get rewarded for being a good player on a bad team? it happens in the real world (I know it is a crazy analogy, but I need some support lol). I want to get out of bronze 5 and it is hard when you lose 7 straight! I am really not complaining here, and just am trying to suggest something.
