Maybe after it legit happens, then people may calm down.

For me though I'm actually betting on the changes being cancelled thanks to his playerbase.

cough LeeSin popularity bias Riven _ cough_

thing is i never saw riven as a popularly played champions just one with a dedicated player base about as big as people who played volibear and trundle but trundle cant bite towers any more and volibear lost attack speed and both along with every other bruiser felt the hp item nerfs season 5 the constant Maw nerfs that makes if progressively worse and worse to pick up for fighters along with constant buffs to classes with more mbility and range than them. only voli was really popular in the last year and thats because of his passive in the jungle gives him safe early clears but he is a top laner not a jungler and before that as a support but boots of swiftness got nerfed but his acutal role he is weak in and doesnt get buffs for it.

And by "nerfs", you mean "tweaks" where his compensation more than makes up for what he lost.

? What are you basing this off of

6.18 Base attack speed increased to 0.67 from 0.658. Attack speed growth reduced to 2.5% from 3.2%. Last Breath: Bonus armor penetration now only applies to Yasuo's critical strikes.

The attack speed change was a buff. The whole community erroneously perceived it as a nerf to tank Yasuo, but the difference was meaningless as it only takes 9.134% AS to exceed previous levels. Since every Yasuo build has AS from runes anyways, this meant that they only experienced an increase in attack speed at all stages of the game, especially given that tank Yasuo already built PD in the first place. It is not wholly unsurprising for Yasuo to have at least finished Zeal or PD by the time he hits Lv 6, so access to the bonus armor penetration only went down from 100 to 60 or 40%, not 0%. Given that he deals damage anyways in those cases where he doesn't land the crit, and that most champions he encounters rarely build more than 60 or so armor by Lv 6 (If they build any at all), the difference in damage output actually isn't all that different from before. Yasuo still proceeded to build some tank, and to this day builds Frozen Mallet in at least 20% of games.

5.8 Way of the Wanderer: Flow capacity increased to 「 100 – 510 」 from 「 60 – 470 」. Flow generation reduced at early ranks to per 59 / 52 / 46 units traveled from 46 at all levels.

Buffed by approximately 30% in the early game, and 9% in the late. "Working for it" was meaningless here, it was purely a buff.

4.21 Movement speed increased to 345 from 340. Steel Tempest: Cooldown reduced to 4 seconds from 5 / 4.75 / 4.5 / 4.25 / 4 seconds at all ranks. 4.18 Base health lowered to 462 from 512. Base movement speed lowered to 340 from 350.

Got nerfed, then very soon buffed.

boards will never be ok with yasuo

i dont even think he's too strong atm

Salron2 votes

He's a little on the strong side rn If we deleted PD he wouldn't be an issue tbh, item is way too good and he's its best user

Big Lincoln2 votes

PD is a dumb item and i wouldn't be upset about it being reworked again. % damage reduction is absurd as an item meant for squishy duelists

Or just play Urgot and take away all that lovely damage of his...

The sheep whining about balanced champions finally pays off. Riot responds to public outcry rather than care about actually balancing the game. Hence Lee Sin and Yasou get nerfed, cause people saw a few people whining and started a trend. And Riot responds to this shit. Can't have stable champs, nope, someone always has to be in the gutter so the balance team can "fix" them 3 months down the road.

Except Lee has been actively in and out of proplay for whole seasons. Yasuo, maybe only S5/4?

Pros tend to play champions with high skill ceilings and/or good team fight capability. Lee Sin fits those categories hence why he's seen consistently in pro play. Yasou requires team comps built around him so it's harder for him to be a consistent competitive pick.

Yasuo fell out of meta for most of season 5 He did make a comeback in season 6 with cancerous bruiser builds due to his abuse of prenerf Fervor

I hope his nerfs are just a placeholder until they can get some rework done on his kit to turn him into an actually healthy champion.

Because, let's face it, even if he's nerfed and loses most of his games, he still won't be fun to play against.
