In ARAM, the people that are dying get to go back and buy items more often, so she probably had an item advantage on you guys, who were probably also all fairly low, because this is an ARAM.

No, it's played completely differently. You can't heal. You can't buy items until you die. Fights are just one massive orgy where randomized team comps completely matter and the best champions are the ones with a shit ton of ranged damage or continuous cc. Considering it was ARAM, Vayne likely didn't get any good condemns against a wall which means you let a squishy, low ranged adc free hit in the middle of a team fight. Or she last hit champions. At which then champions like Yorick can become "OP" and get a quadrakill while really contributing nothing to the game mode.

Yes. Seems like your team made a major mistake to give kills to useless Vayne. I think the problem lies elsewhere. Or enemy team played the fight out pretty well. I don't think Vayne was the issue.

I'm sure that was all because of Vayne's skill and her OP kit and not because it was a team fight and she just happened to get the last hits/her team gave them to her since she is a hyper carry and she was behind.

Edit: just saw this was an ARAM....I'll be moving on now.

went against a vayne top. killed her solo two-three times, she split/farmed top the entire game until our adc dc'd and then we surrendered. Vayne top sucks. Either Vayne feeds hard or she just splits the entire game and makes the entire game an effective 4v4

It was either me leaving to fight 5v4 and Vayne on top and let her get all 3 of my turrets or not. I didn't want to give up my lane and loose our pressure on top. But as to why you would... beats me. Though i can see why she would be effective at it. She can duel pretty much anyone that comes to stop her.

The difference between Draven and Vayne is that you can build against Draven and he has a cut off point. Vayne on the other hand, you cant itemize against %HP True Damage. Atleast with Draven you can build armor.

Armor. It's not like Vayne's only damage source is her W. Check post-game stats and check physical damage to champs, compare it to true damage to champs. You'll see it's not huge then.

Actually, a lot of Vayne's power comes from the mixture of Blade of The Ruined King's passive and her W procs. Also, it doesn't help that she builds attack speed, so the base damage on her autos and W can kill squishies and tanks equally fast. The real counter to a Vayne is attack speed slows from items and champions like Nunu and Nasus. A withered Vayne can take some serious fire if her team doesn't peel for her or if it isn't cleansed soon.

CC is also a killer of Vayne, but her passive and Tumble makes it hard to lock her down in a team fight. Champions like Taric, Galio, Annie, Malzahar, Wukong, and Viktor can lock her down with some level of difficulty and timing. Champions like Rengar, Zed, Olaf, Nasus, and Talon can catch her and take her out quickly, while effectively ignoring her peel (Save for Nasus, you can't ignore him). Her invisibility and Condemn makes it hard for ADCs to duel her, but Draven, if on par with Vayne item-wise, can take her out quicker than she can say "Impure fools."

item 3153 deals physical damage. Like I said, Vayne deals a lot more physical damage to champs than true damage throughout the match.

But that's the problem with building tank against her. You build armor and no health, and you get bursted down fast because you have no health to back it up. On the other hand, if you build more health and less armor, you get hurt more by the %hp damage. Which is why itemizing against Vayne is tricky.

Also, what do you think about my advice about dealing with her? Did you think it was helpful, or was I wrong in any aspects?

dravens has to work for his damage you can kite him pretty easily tbh even with blood rush since you need to stop to catch the axe all vayne needs to do is right click.
