You're not the only person taking jungle camps.

When you feel you're entitled to your jungler's gromp, whether it's because you're just short of an item, or you haven't taken any in a while, that's fine. Just remember there's two other people who feel the exact same way, resulting in an empty, empty wasteland for your gank machine to come back to. This makes the jungler lose even more experience, gold, and SMITE BUFFS.

Not saying you should stop, just take into account how badly you're screwing over your jungler. He can kiss his thormail, his vision control, and his stun goodbye, all at the same time.

also jungle camps respawn time doubled lol

People are greedy. Top/bot want your krugs/gromp or raptors, mid wants blue, marksman wants red, etc. I usually farm my entire jungle all game and rarely give buffs, unless asked. I dislike laners who just walk over to your buff and try to take it like it's their buff to take.

I try to give out buffs as much as possible, but sometimes I just can't, or don't want to give it to the guy who's feeding and just gonna end up handing it over to the enemy LeBlanc. I'm fine when top does the do one camp and tp up start. I just can't stand when someone unilaterally takes my buffs without asking. Or when lategame top lane decides he is gonna get his gold from the ENTIRE jungle and not the massive minion waves pushing towards the towers. I mean seriously... people just need to learn the game... there isn't much riot can do. Although machete should give exp. bonus

You ask for buff? Sure, I'll let you take it. I'll even offer blue to you if I'm manaless

But if you don't ask or move in for it, then get mad when you don't get it...your fault

I give away my buffs most of the time after the first clear or 2, but I usually continually clear my jungle and don't let laners take it until later on.

when I jungle I take first blue, raptors for vision control and red early game for ganks, then spend my time ganking or invading to deny their raptors vision and buffs, you call yourself a "gank machine" but if you're doing full clears there is no time for you to gank until mid game unless you're Nunu

I often jungle, and it's just polite to ask or at least notify. A jungler can easily take a moment to say if he/she needs their Blue for this round, or if they need the chickens or whatever. It does require two people not being assholes, but that itself is more common than you might think.

If you're never away from your jungle enough for your laners to take a camp by level 10, you're not doing your job

Go ward dragon Go contest dragon

look at it this way, you're at base and my wave is pushed i might just take a camp. Just as well I'm low and need to recall, you are equally entitles to take some of my minions that would otherwise die in my lane. The idea is to share gold in an efficient way not to claim ownership over anything on the map. That said I always ask before i take a blue at mid.

Ran into an issue yesterday with a Maokai Top. (I was mid) Jungler was starting Gromp (I forget who our jungler was specifically). Maokai went to chickens and demanded Udyr start at red buff and help him take chickens. "For the lvl 2 lane advantage."

Lets never mind that Maokai didn't have teleport. This was Yolo Queue. And in spite of me leashing for the jungler, he still stole the chickens.

What did this accomplish?

  • He had to B after clearing the camp. By the time he arrived to lane, he had lost enough CS and lane pressure to actually come out behind.
  • Jungler Lost gold and experience.
  • I lost CS and Lane pressure hard leashing for the jungler.

So... Way to go dude. You gimped 3 people, just so you could be an troll.

EDIT: I gotta ask, is this a new LCS thing? I don't even know what made them think this was such a great idea.

I like how mids think they're entitled to blue no matter what. If I play Zax jungle and you're 0/4 as mid, I don't care if it's almost useless on me. You're not handing it over to the other team. Same story with ADCs and red, except they're slightly more reasonable about it.

Why does anyone want jungle camps? Anyone realize they're actually getting ripped off? If you're a laner taking a jungle camp:

-You have no extra damage, HP regen, or MP regen from a jungle item. -You have no Smite assassinate, and therefore get no small camp buffs. -You get no +30g per camp, which still leaves junglers often the poorest member of the team. -You don't have your runes and masteries built around surviving them all game long. -You are taking damage which essentially gives your adversary a free advantage. You better not die in lane! -You are presumably pushing far enough to be ganked while doing so, not to mention not allowing any room for your jungler to gank. -You are also leaving your lane without pressure, and therefore opening your teammates up to team-sized ganks.

And the benefits, meanwhile, would be... -30 less gold than Jungler would get (now that's sad...). -A piddly amount of EXP (look at your jungler if he stays in there).

I swear, I want to play with some of these guys that take them, and support their carry, then take their minions. Why? Because, dammit, I can use them, too! 'Cuz logic.

If you're really that anxious, pressure your lane heavily, ward up their jungle, and harass/steal from their jungler. Don't steal from yours!
