I was wondering if he is worth learning now or should I wait till his mini-makeover? Is he a niche pick or is he kind of a generalist jungler?

he's a pretty great combo farmer/ganker/split pusher. he's not the best in teamfights as the main tank, but he's great for running in and forcing people to focus him in case he blows up someone by clicking on them. I do highly recommend you try out his new q with black cleaver, I dunno if that's become meta but it procs almost all 6 stacks with one auto and I knew it was gonna be a thing since I saw it. full cdr mode warrior enchant.

sure he doesn't get any attack speed then but his q and passive give him massive attack speed so long as you have mana.

I not a big udyr player by any means but I find him to be very underwhelming at the moment. I can deal with his kiting issues, that is something I can accept with as an in-built weakness of of being a pure melee fighter. My issue with him is that doesn't quite have enough overall fighting power to justify his complete lack of range and also lack of an ultimate. He feels hardly stronger then any other auto-attack duelist like Xin when he should be able to wreck anyone in a 1v1 if even or ahead, and doesn't get outplayed.
