Jungling as Vi, Need help. ( Video included )

Whenever i play Elise/Xin im able to get a nice level 2-3 gank, but when i play vi i find myself way too low in health, Around 30-40% after red buff or raptors.

I start Q fully charge at 1:38, kill rocks, then i smite red and try kite autos with red buff.

By then im 30-40% I level W second tho

Start W, E, then Q.

Like the other guy said start W, E, then Q. Another thing that I do personally is I start a camp, lets start with krugs like you were, and smite that for the buff, then I go to raptors and then back to red because my smite will be back up by that time and then I'm healthy enough for a gank. This works for all the champions I play in then jungle, even none-conventional champs like jinx or yasuo

I start e then do w. Also, vi in my opinion is meant to be more of a crowd control/tank. As far as ganks go, she's great at level 6 but doesn't have much to help her before then since her gap close knocks them back a bit

You should always start with your W first. It's going to give you the fastest clear. If you're really dependent on that shield you could start E but I do not recommend it.

If you want to go for a gank after red then go Q second. Otherwise get your E. Remember to use your E spell to reset your auto attack animation.

A few simple tips:

  • Flat AS AR and AD Runes are best for Vi
  • I recommend Hunters Machete & 3 pots start
  • Regardless of jungle side take W first
  • Always smite Krugs or Gromp
  • Red side is easier with more AS/Blue Side with more AR
  • Take E Second for better early clear if you have no intention of ganking until 3+ (Remember Auto into E for the auto reset)
  • Use pots to heal if going for level 2 gank after buff
  • when taking Wolves or Raptors kill the small creeps first (Unless you have smite at raptors with krugs buff, then its easier to just auto it and smite finish)
  • If you need to gank immediately after third camp then use a pot to heal, otherwise just taking scuttle can heal you quite a bit

Hope this helps a little

I like starting gromp with vi, and getting that early blue to spam e more. If you position well, you can hit most of the mobs in each camp with the cone. That and gromp poison will make them easier to kill. And if you time it right, you can maximize your shield passive. E also resets auto attacks, so it's really nice.

The attack speed and armor shred from w is super useful for jungling. You really only need 1 point in Q, max the other two first.

I can typically do gromp, blue, wolves then red and hit level 3 at about 65% hp. It's a little sketchy for a gank, but if someone is pushed, you can catch them rather easily. Usually I prefer to get wraiths and back to get a jungle item, them gank with chilling smite or warriors.

my jungle route as vi,rengar etc. is always the side were the adc+supp is , smiting the camp doing the red scuttle crab, blue (if no lane needs help/is getting overextended) b, the Scuttle crab helps you staying healthy.

Starting Items: Machete + Refillable Potion Skill Order: WQEQQR or WEQQQR, R > Q > W = E Runes: Attack Speed Quints, AD Marks, Armor Seals

Clear Orders:

  • Krugs (Smite), Raptors, Red Buff (Smite)
  • Gromp (Smite), Blue Buff, Red buff (Smite)
