Aatrox' I like it.
I mean they could just get rid of Grievous Wounds and balance healing properly, so Aatrox would be allowed to be a full champion....but you know. Community QQ'ed about healing being too op so Riot decided to give more Grievous Wounds. Then the community celebrated bramble vest allthough we all knew that it's an unhealthy item that just breaks champions. Champions that actually have to heal to function even if they don't buy lifesteal...like Aatrox...or Mundo...hell even Soraka is shitty to play but they gave her an abusive laning phase so that doesn't matter you fucking snowball to win and people don't even itemize against the heals, allthough it is availavle as super cheap hardcounter items.
If you think that we need Grievous Wounds then your are sooooo wrong, without them it would actually be justified to tune down heals across the board, but with GW thats just not an option.
I will be very very sad about this. Aatrox is so much fun to play right now. His visuals and his kit is fine. As is his VO. He would only need a few tweaks here and there. I doubt riot will deliver. They haven't with swain atleast in my opinion. Definitely not with leblanc. Let's see what irelia will be.

Where did you hear about this? I’m kinda surprised they would change the scope of the update after it has been announced. Usually when these things go public, it is because the design process is finalized and production is near completion.

they said they will make him a true swordmaster
they did say aatrox wings might be changed also

As a mastery 5 Aatrox Main wannabe, I’m hopeful. I think their redoing animations and VFX to fit with his new abilities.
