The league community is so funny...

You make all these posts about "broken" champs and "cancer" champs but do you ever stop to think how the pros got where they are now? Did they whine and complain like children? Did they make posts on forums? Nope. They got better at the game. Found out how to counter certain champs. Found out different strategy. If you check the players complaining about champs, you'll find out that they either have next to no games with the champ or they got destroyed by the champ. Or there's just the case of upvote farming which would just be sad. But oh well, carry on bandwagon of blind hate. You're sure to get better that way.

I've been saying that for years, albeit most of the time I used a more... percussive language.

This is also just not true. I have played a lot of Lux and Sona, and I took my fair share of abuse from Lux and Sona players by arguing that they were too strong. Back before Lux's shield nerf, she was way too safe. After Sona's rework she was just ridiculously busted af.

And those are two of my favorite and most-played champs. I'm not even good with Sona, so when my win rate with her spiked to like 60% overnight, it was pretty obviously a balance issue; I didn't magically become a Sona god out of nowhere.

If a champ is overtuned, that's a different story but the LoL community are complaining about Yasuo's kit like it's the most overloaded thing on earth. He has CLEAR weaknesses. I've played vs. many good Yasuos and I know that it's a purely skill lane. Unlike some other champions, he requires strategy to use him. Most of the complainants don't know the first thing about Yasuo. Give them the champ and they just tap E and execute under tower. I used to think so many champs were easy till I played them. People are just mad when they get outplayed.

You have to understand a few things about Yasuo.

  1. Windwall is a basic ability that hard counters every ranged caster in the game, and it's coded in such a way that makes it reliable when cast reactively instead of being a proactive strategic tool for your team to play around. The result is a basic ability that's up for 100% of ranged ults, nullifies them completely, and leaves them on cooldown. That's the definition of high frustration.

  2. The Flow shield makes it extremely difficult to assassinate him or otherwise capitalize on poor positioning, overextending, or being caught out. This is especially frustrating for skillshot and/or combo reliant champs.

  3. There is a list of pre-requisites you have to meet before bothering to all-in Yasuo. His passive has to be off, which gives you a window of several seconds. His windwall has to be on cooldown. His Q knockup has to be down. THEN you can burst him if you land a cc inside that window. The problem is that the window doesn't actually exist if the Yasuo is decent.

So the complaint isn't that he's overloaded. The complaints are that he is high frustration, that windwall is fundamentally overpowered for a basic ability as currently coded, and he has unfairly short windows of vulnerability in lane against almost all mid laners.

  1. It lasts for 4 seconds. Wait it out if he's standing behind it or walk past it. Don't blow all your spells knowing he has his windwall. Bait it out. I mean you complain about the windwall but Zhonyas gives the user better protection than the windwall does Yasuo.

  2. Flow shield has to be one of the worst shields in the game with a duration of 1 second. And it's procced by 1 aa. It's very unreliable and if he gets caught out, the shield won't be effective unless you blow everything on him at once.

  3. Nah mate. Depends on your skill level. You can go in anytime you want. It's just that it's EASIER when certain abilities are on CD. And this list you mentioned applies to every champ. You have to waste for the best time possible to engage.

High frustration shouldn't be a reason to nerf/rework a champ. Janna and Soraka are far more frustrating but they are left alone. Windwall has a long cooldown and can be easily baited. I really see no problem here.

Hate as in, "Omg I almost escaped but enemy Rengar killed me" is different from "Nerf this champ because I don't want to be forced to use my brain before engaging".

Alex has stated that he hates Riven from the bottom of his heart. That's why everyone was stunned when he picked her in one of the tournaments. That's not just "omg, I did play but she killed me" That's exactly what it is - it's hate. Everyone hates at least one champion in this game. Even pros. Many pros even complain about some champions on their streams and not just to entertain. Just because they play a lot better than us, mortals and that they are proffesionals doesn't mean they are not humans as well. And we are all different. And we will like something and hate something. That's just human nature. Anyway, those are just personal opinions. If someone don't like a champion you can't and won't change it.

He hates her but doesn't cry "NERF RIVEN COS I HATE HER" or "RIVEN IS UNFUN TO PLAY AGAINST, MORDEKAI HER". Nope. You saw clearly from the video how he outplayed her. He hates her but learned how to play against her. I'm not against any one hating a champ. Heck I hate Janna and soraka so much. What I'm saying is do not blindly ask for nerfs just because you can't play against a certain champion.

He even said that he would like her removed, not only nerfed. xD And yeah, that's exactly what he said, other pros do this, too. I just want to explain why there are so much threads like this. People just find some champions unfun to play against/with and here you go. You won't change their mind, you will only get hated as well, because, well, logic. That's why we learned to ignore this.

Even if I told you that Soraka is weak and can be easily countered by grievous wounds would you stop hate her? I think not. Just as I won't stop hate Vayne for example. xD

Can't quote him. I've seen other streamers complain but not about removing a champ. Anyways, I know how to counter Soraka. I'm that ADC that rushes Executioner's calling on first back. I still hate her and like I said, that doesn't mean I want her to be removed from the game.
