TOP HEAVY LP gains and losses at Diamond and above were adjusted due to too many players rapidly climbing into Master and above

Yea "adjusted"...

You mean +12 -21

So you want me to have a 66% winrate to climb anything? Thanks Riot, great changes.

I won't lie, I came into this thread thinking it would be about Sona or MF.

Well the fuck up of riot was massive somehow that needs to get fixed. I personally pledge for a hard reset for years now (especially because of the damage done by dynamic queue) but riot will never do this.

Instead it will take weeks if not months for all the self boosted players to drop back. It's insane that five seasons plat players are now in masters and grandmasters with negative winrates hardcore flaming actual (multiple) challenger players. Every noway stream i watch is a shitfest then i look up op.gg and half of the matches players were plat/low dia the seasons before.

It also sucks for the better players of course, naturally when you reach your skillpoint you flat out your winrate but you have always had to maintain a 55% winrate you keep your rank in masters+. All the bad/boosted players will be flushed out of grandmasters and probably masters pretty quickly but diamond (as always) will keep being a shitfest of frustrated diamonds who get fucked by riot the most because they are not good enough for masters/grandmasters and now get punished even harder because of the LP gains while it will take months to years for the formerly boosted players to drop back because you don't have to play to keep your ranked in diamond. I think diamond would be much better off if you had to keep playing consistently against decay like you have in masters+. As it is now it will ruin diamond for months probably years. But riot doesn't care as long as it is not high elo/pro level or super low elo.

Simply hard reset ranked to every single player being 1000 MMR and start from scratch.

Who would be against this?

The vast majority of low elo players who hard grinded for their rewards.

And probably some high elo/pro players but honestly a hardreset is needed after two fuck ups.

First dynaQ then this shit.

You mean people that have already hard-grinded in the 1 month the season has been live?

They should have done it after pre-season sure and not in the midst of a season but the sooner the better isn't it?

I would be ok if they did it for season 10 at least
