Thematically wise it would be interesting. Mechanically wise it would be aids incarnate.

Yep. Canceraids with a side of plague. Extra salt.

Does that come in as an entrée ? I'd order two serves if it does.

Too OP. Extending cast ranges just means Soraka stays even further back in fights and just heals. That is not healthy gameplay.

How about we delete Soraka?

Do baically take Taric and Lulu's thing and give it to Raka for no reason? Why?

Ah, a point and click silence, gives herself mana, free sustain, and a MR debuff that stacked 10 times. Good times.

Or what you do to Soraka is:

Passive: Soraka gains the blessings of the stars whenever she uses an ability. Q: Sagittarius grants Soraka 20/25/30/35/40% for 2 seconds. W: Lyra grants Soraka +MP5 20/30/40/50/60 3/3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds. R: Capricorn grants Soraka + 20/40/60/80/100 bonus ability power for 10 seconds or for the next 3 spell casts.

Q: This is now a single auto-target ability. Soraka calls down a shooting star on the target enemy. Upon landing, the star shatters on the target, breaking into smaller stars that damage nearby enemies. The second damage cannot affect the main target, but other may get hit by multiple star shards.

Initial target damage: 80/100/120/140/160. Secondary damage: 80/120/160/200/240.

Targets hit by more than one secondary star shard are dealt 50% of the damage and have their movement speed slowed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 2 seconds.

W: Soraka enchants an area, causing starlight to engulf the small area, granting healing to any ally that stays within its light. Only one ally can benefit from the healing and the healing will prioritize champions with a lower health %. The starlight lasts for 2/2.5/3/3.5/4 seconds and heals for 40/50/60/70/80 per second. (80/125/180/245/320 total healing).

E: Soraka places a constellation in the target zone. Based on the last spell she used, the effects are different. All enemy champions take damage when the zone is initially created and when it expires.

Q: Constellation Sagittarius - The Archer. - The zone created will silence enemies for the length of the zone. Enemies who linger inside the zone when it expires are rooted. W: Constellation Lyra - The Harp: The zone created is increased by 20% and increases ally movement speed while walking over it (lingering for 2 seconds after they leave the zone or it expires). The damage, silence, and root are reduced by 50% during this effect. R: Constellation Capricorn - The Goat: The zone created has its area of effect increased by 50% and lasts for 5 seconds. Starlight fills the area, similar to her W, but now affects all targets within the area. Allies are healed for 30/40/50/60/70 per second, while enemies are damaged for 20/40/60/80/100 per second.

R: Soraka prays to the stars, instantly healing all allies for 150/200/250. Allies below 50% health are granted 20/30/40 Armor and Magic Resist for 3 seconds.

edit: i got way more invested in this than I wanted.

It would be an interesting addition if Soraka were weak, but she's pretty strong at the moment. If she ever gets to the point where she needs a buff, I think this would be a good idea considering Soraka likes to bleed herself out and stand in the back - this would allow her to stand further back.

Currently, though, it would be unnecessary power added to an already powerful support.

Taric exists,won't happen.

With some skill changes, this would actually be a pretty cool idea.
