Anyone else as happy as I am about the morde rework?

I'm so gosh dang glad they're finally doing something to ever so slightly change the bot lane meta. I'm so sick of having to play a marksman bot, because they're all so damn boring. I like the idea of having a pick other than a marksman not be a "troll" pick on bot.
I played Hecarim adc the other day because I like the random button in champ select, and I easily won lane. End of the game my elise still said it was my fault we lost even though all around I played better than her, and even my score was better. The reason we lost was not because we had no ranged ad mind you. Their adc was nearly non-existant.

absolutly not, for two reasons:

it will not achieve what you´re thinking...it wonßt make suddenly bruiser/kill botlanes accepted, it would only shift morde himself into botlane meta as a special case
it´s a horrible binary concept - relaying on him getting the lvl lead in the duolane and shutting down the opponent adc/snowballing drakes. meaning if it´s successfull he will hardcounter any adcs that cannot deal with him and force them out of the meta. This won´t affect pros much, as they could just laneswap and his advantage is mostly gone, but for soloq his successcase would turn out really toxic. the other option is that he turns out to weak and will never see play in the first place.

I like it a lot actually, and I think it's cool what they're doing with Dragon. Like how many champions have a interaction, with something like that? Mordekaiser Est Numero Uno huehuehuehue

I love playing Morde, and I feel like this is a gameplay change that will really make it interesting.

The problem is that Mordekaiser is literally worthless atm because his numbers are so god damn under-tuned and even then, taking an actual ADC would be better.

Dragon ghost is nothing more than a glorified win-more mechanic that prevents Mord from using his Ultimate while it is up.

Mixed feelings.

I like that a Rioter is specifically designing a champion to screw with the stale meta. If any designer could do it, it would be the weird and wacky mind of CerT.

I don't like that it's Morde taking the blow. Yeah, he's not the most popular champion (could you imagine them doing something like this to Lee Sin? Riot HQ would be burned to the ground by the end of the week) but he's not the best match for a duo lane. CerT said himself that Yasuo was his attempt to create a melee marksman. Why not tweak him to finish the job instead?
