The Janna Phenomenon

Let me give you a little lesson Riot. The Janna Phenomenon. This phenomenon comes from when Janna was given a buff long ago, when she had a 57% winrate from statistics. The buff made more people play her and her winrate actually dropped. Why you say? Because she had a dedicated player base. The buff made more people player which made more unexperienced Janna players lose with her. You can apply this to other champions as well, not just Janna. Aurelion Sol and Taliyah, who have abysmal play rates, werr nerfed due to them having high success. Maybe Riot you could learn from this.

Don't mean to be an ass here, but I think Riot is already aware of this stuff.

Buffing her and making her winrate drop did not fix the fact that her mains had high winrates. It just made her overall winrate drop.

Yeah... Who cares if the majority lose with a champ? If you win with the champ then that is good. Like I think Riot said Ryze was too difficult to master, but the masters were too difficult to beat. That would be a case of low global win rate but a successful champion (in the right hands)... I don't see a problem with that. Vayne used to be that way and I don't recall people complaining. People said stuff like "Vayne is hard!" and they understood she is good and less skilled players would struggle to play her. It came with the territory.

didn't riven just get buffed and her winrate went down. its quite obvious thing honestly.

This sort of thing is what riot keeps pointing out to us, when people are complaining that X has an unreasonable win rate, and why they keep pointing out that win rates don't tell the whole story.

With azir/sol/Tali/etc they've usually explicitly pointed out that while they aren't necessarily doing great overall, in the hands of experienced players (and/or in competitive) they're oppressive.

(Also it's been a long long long time since Jannas gotten a buff, she's pretty much gotten nerfed every season. Ryze is probably a better example, as he keeps getting reworked and having like a 40% win rate or something tragic, and then faker carries with him and it turns out he's wtf OP.)
