I'm having a hard time with Nidalee

Weathered··3 votes·515 views

A general summary of my troubles is that I suck early game and usually die a few times but by mid to late I am fed. Early game is just not clicking for me.

I know how to build her, her masteries, her runes. In my head I know how to clear with Nidalee, but I always end up at a clear time 10-15 seconds too late and have to use all three of my potions. Are their any tips anyone can give for clear routes or easy early gank combos/positions? I find myself too deep often and dying because of her squishyness.

always start in the bot lane, krugs for blue side, gromp for red, start spear then heal, get traps at lvl 3. i know it really sucks not having pounce at lvl 1 and 2, but she BADLY needs the heal to live.. also if you are at low hp after your buff try to go for scuttle, after you hit lvl 3 your clear should be easy enough.

i can go into more detail later if need be

edit: also.. i took a look at your lolking profile... and none of your runes pages are good for nidalee, and although yuor "resolve" mastery page is close i would edit it slightly..

I've been doing all of that except starting bot lane, I've always started blue buff side regardless. Won't starting red buff side cause you to run out of mana really quick?

Simple JG clears for players. Also watch some junglers on Nid and learn their thought processes.

no it wont... theitem 1039 is enough to get your to lvl 3. if you start on blue side, take krugs, then kill red, depending on your HP either do raptors or heal off scuttle. (ideally you want to do raptors first). the red buff along with your heal will heal you for alot and the mana regen and heal fromitem 1039. use your heal when you fight the scuttle, but you dont need to use your spear if u dont want to.

ideally you want to take scuttle while you still have the gromp buff becuase the "stun" will greatly increase the damage taken by the scuttle you can read more on that here http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Rift_Scuttler

once you hit lvl 3 you can either try to steal thier blue. (they should be arriving shortly if they started red, and they dont normally smite it, so if u ward the aera u can take it from behind the wall) or you can go to your blue for the default clear if you are low on mana do blue before wolves, and if you are REALLY low on mana (which your shouldn't be if u did scuttle) you can smite blue.

anyways after you reach lvl 3 the clear should be easy enough

Your giving someone false information..which is expected since most people on this forums are like silver 3 or whatever.

I agree with this, except for the starting bot part. In most cases, I get a better clear starting blue side and almost always end up with more health.

Throw less spears. The cast animation is long and unless your chances of hitting are very high, it simply isn't worth stopping to throw them. Watch people like Rush play Nidalee and you'll notice that he basically doesn't throw a spear unless it's a near guaranteed hit or he's just looking to poke. Otherwise, he just runs at them and autos them down until they get low enough to execute.

since your jungling nid you could use flat ad reds for autos vs monsters or attack speed reds for more dps. take flat armor yellows. you can take ap quitns or ms quints , ap will help with your damage and for blues, cdr, mr, or ap per lvl depending on what you are facing.
