vs mid, hard favors the ad champion, seriously what damage am I supposed to be doing? when they have 95 mr from these 3 items plus mr in runes. they still have their scalings on abilities, and can keep trading when their cds are down because dont forget auto attacks are another 100% ad scaling Oh and removing damage scalings in masteries is cool and all, but I still am going to be doing even less noticeable damage to them while they can keep sustaining and doing their own damage. Why even torture myself trying to play viktor or ahri when jayce gets so much better items. even if he did get nerfed this patch...

Jayce is just a really frustrating champ to play against, especially if someone is good at him. The guy you just played against is likely a booster or a smurf. Look at his account. He hasn't lost a game on that account and he carried every time as jayce.

On the subject tho, I think as Viktor you really want to keep your distance from jayce, dodge the jayce qs, poke with laser, set a trap and stand in it til he gets stunned if he tries for all in hammer form then kill him or run. If he stacks the lethality items that have built in defense against mages, then you just have got to avoid him and let your ad champions work on him while you fight easier targets.

You've got to realize that jayce is just like Riven in that, he does not want you to be able to fight back when he fights you. So after he does go in and blows his stuff that is really when he is vulnerable. He's very squishy and some assassin/bruiser/ or your ad carry with peel can wipe his ass out.

AD mid laners usually have to put themselves at much greater risk to deal damage than mages do.

And have you seen a decent or Ahri mid? Not even item 3156 and item 3102 can save you from their item 3165 .
