Shaco = Best Low Elo JG

Shaco feels like he would be a very good JG for climbing if you have Mastery 5 or higher. I've just played him in JP Server and crushed.

He has super strong early game... Q + W + autos + E + Ignite is a surefire way to kill/force Flash. You have immediate high impact on lanes.

You can adapt depending on the situation, he can split and he can also team fight.

Contrary to popular belief, he does NOT suck at team fights, not in low elo anyways. He can repeatedly bait team fights because low elo will literally open fire at anyone they see immediately... this is when you bait them into bad fights and then use your blinks, boxes, and Ultimate to outplay them.

Low elo is not equipped to play mind games against Shaco. They'll do what you want them to do 80%+ of the time. All it takes is for them to have 1 or 2 players who don't get Shaco.

At 3+ items he can kill anyone who isn't a tank with 1-2 autos and a few abilities. This and the CC he brings to fights in the form of the boxes gives him better teamfight than almost any other assassin JG in the game. (this along with invisibility makes him more dangerous than Zed).

You can legit 1 vs 1 anyone if you outplay with clones, boxes, and invisibility.

What do you think?

Any time I see the enemy pick shaco, I know I have an easy win provided my team doesn't int in laning phase. Play safe until you get first item, and then I can legit just delete any shaco dumb enough to gank me or force him to flash and q away. Doesn't matter if he's got ignite, double buffs, full hp, and ult.

The only power he has vs a semi-tanky damage dealer is the ability to use boxes and stealth to run away. Merely has an annoyance factor - not a kill threat. Much like typical teemo. He can shit on you early, but if you don't feed him, you get an item or two, have meaningful damage and are tanky enough to take his poke and still engage for a fight. Meanwhile the teemo has no durability. So you wait out his blind, and kill him with one or two good combos. He either respects the burst from your first one and can't harass properly... allowing you to safely farm the lane and threaten tower dive, or he dies. If he respects your damage, he is now the one getting zoned away from cs and being forced to base and miss minion waves or farm them via shrooms as best he can while based.

But unlike Teemo, he can 1 vs 1 all squishies when all of his abilities are up from 3+ items (so actually has a late game too).

Plus you may know how to not get killed by him early... but your team won't more than half of the time. We're looking at a First Blood in favour of Shaco 3 out of 5 games at least (or burnt friendly Flash).

With invisibility, Shaco can 100% choose when he wants to fight and from where. In the hands of someone who knows what they are doing and how to utilise clone/box placements its a huge factor in team fights. The way he plays is also very alien to a lot of low elo players... its very multi-layered and mind-gamey... he "goes in" only to go out again and then back in to kill etc.

I've noticed low elo will almost always engage on a "caught out" Shaco only to get massively counter-engaged on. You can bait them over and over...

His Split and Pick is also extremely insane once he picks up a couple of kills. You can go un-punished for ages.

Yea shaco is great and so are the other 5 stealthy junglers.

I feel like he has more conditional CC to influence fights. Plus he can kill a lot easier with his Ult down.

The thing with Kha, Rengar, and Evelynn is that if your team is behind in kills its very hard to come back.

But with Shaco, you can continuously bait, pick and split while landing tons of CC.

Literally none of those three need their team to do jack squat.

I played all 4 and I get A LOT more done on Shaco.

You have so many options and you get to bait counter-engages in a way you can't with the other 3 using your clone, blink, and boxes.

Your late game is also definitely the best, at 3+ items you don't even need your Ult to kill targets very quickly with mostly just autos.
