riven has no sustain at all.. teemos dot hurts her badly... his blind messes up her Q combo by making her miss her autos reducing her damage out put. and teemo is range... and has movement speed boost

Start Dorans Shield, farm passively. Hit Six, by then you should have some AD. Proceed to destroy him with your ult and a full combo with thunderlords.

I promise you it's not a good lane for teemo.

its not good for riven... he can harass you and use his Q to blind you making you miss farm and gold... he will therefore have more cs/experience and levels gaining more items to deal with riven...

one of the biggest counters to riven is being able to out sustain her cuz she has no sustain and shit for hp regen

aka garen he can out tank her, out sustain her and oh wait he can silence her too negating her combo and her damage amplification

Riven has more than just autos she can use to farm with, and zero consequences for doing so if that's the case that she needs to. Just play it safely early on, start valor and use it to absorb a fair deal of the poke in lane. Disengage if he's getting too hornery and wait till six.

It's reaaalllly not as hard as you're making it seem and teemo QUICKLY loses favor in that matchup unles he gets a cheeky early kill.

(this one is bad) JarvanIV (not as bad as pantheon but bad) MonkeyKing (not as bad as j4 but bad) Kennen (with a typical teemo build kennen wins but teemo can go tanky and win). (this one is really bad for teemo if malphite doesnt die pre 6) Sion (bad at all stages for the teemo . has too much cc and does too much damage building tank)

the worst match up for teemo. that is literally impossible. the ones above. are doable for teemo. extremely hard but doable. but the one that you have to be absolutely tiers and tiers better to win is

impossible lane for teemo. much much worse than pantheon. nothing he can do. he tries to poke you. you spam your skillshots at him and you outsustain. he cant even stay under his turret.

Yorick- you get too tanky after Hexdrinker and he can't really get away too easily for W-E
Swain- once again, tanky, with poke to match and you win pretty hard post-6
Rumble- blind doesn't hurt you at all, poke, tankiness, and post-6 it turns into a kill lane

Pantheon Your Q and passive, stops his trade potential, the moment he steps out of minions to harass you, you can stun, e, then Q as he runs away, you WILL out trade him. And with your ult, you can stop his splitting. Yorick Its yorick. Kayle You can Q when he comes in to AA/Q, same range, and his Blind doesnt stop her E, and your W will give you the movespeed + heal for chase. Nasus (once you hit 6, and you get spec cowl + boots, you can ignore him and still farm, you can do more Qs than he can do blinds, and youll chunk him, he has to build damage to kill you, but youl kill him faster, especially if you take stormraiders). Fiora All you need is one jungle gank, once you get one kill, the moment he comes forward, you can destory him, he can flash and you can just Q and still catch up.

Kayle main here. I don't recommend Kayle as a counter to Teemo. Teemo shits on Kayle. At best, Kayle can go even with Teemo by simply farming and avoiding trades. Teemo's blind acts as damage reduction vs Kayle. It completely nullifies her auto attack damage and leaves only the splash damage which counts as a spell but it's damage is far too low to out trade Teemo in an auto attack battle. Also, his blind's damage is way higher than anything Kayle has for a single target nuke. Her Q can deal massive damage but only after leveling it and getting some AD and/or AP. Teemo's blind on the other hand, is a nuke even in the early game with no complete items.

I've played this match-up many many times and Teemo just frustrates Kayle to no end.

This may be true for recently, as last season, she was my go to pick for Teemo top. Havnt done it this season though sadly as theres not enough teemo players around my elo.

Don't get me wrong. Kayle can handle herself well vs Teemo and unlike other champions like Nasus, she can't be pushed around by Teemo but if you're looking for someone to give Teemo a difficult time, it's not Kayle. I'd say Kayle vs Teemo is an even lane at best, at worst Teemo zones you off and out farms you by a considerable margin.

if you get ghost on darius you can beat teemo but hes no counter. its a skill match up after level 6 because darius just needs to grab him once and hes dead. rumble vs teemo is a skill match up. vlad vs teemo goes to teemo. olad vlad countered teemo but not the new one the sustain isn't here he just gets poked to hell.

Ryze is not a skill matchup. Ryze shits on teemo. If he stands in the minions to avoid the combo, you just put flux on him by spreading it to minions and hitting him with a Q that way. If he tries to trade you just proc your shield and chunk him and run. If you lose to a teemo on ryze, the teemo was just a much much better player.

A good ryze wont throw the q unless hes snared. Its not hard at all to W>E>Q or E>W>Q> a teemo. and like i said. If he's hiding behind minions, all you do is spread flux to him and q a minion. You can Bully teemo out of lane early and on your first back you get catalyst. Ryze is bad news bears for teemo. In a trade early you can ignore most of his damage just by proc'ing the shield and ms boost. You land a combo, and back off until hes around 1/2 to 2/3 of his health and all in him.

I can beat Teemo with Riven. I max shield and kill him at level 6. Teemo can't to much at 6 besides throwing shrooms. And Riven has mobility to avoid it easily. Also eat his blinding shot with E every time. Smart Teemo obviously wont spam that often unless your shield is down, but that comes down to skill or how you both predict the outcome of trades.
