Controversial Ways To Make NA Servers Great Again!

Compared to other servers North America is a rage fest filled with trolls. How can we change this? Riot needs to listen to the players who are flaming and stop banning them for dumb reasons. While my views are unpopular in North America, they work for other server regions that have much better player bases. Here are some creative Ideas and the reasoning behind them.

Elimination of Dodge Cooldowns and Bans Most of us have been in lobbies where you know you are going to loose even before the game even starts. People chose champs way out of meta, start flaming before the game begins, not following roles, or straight trolling. Why are we punishing players by forcing them to play a game they know they will loose for 60 minutes. This creates toxicity and resentment. Let's completely remove all forms of dodge cool downs and penalty's.

Elimination of Autofill and second choice Auto fill creates high levels of toxicity and forces players into roles they do not want to play. I would rather wait 10 minutes for a game than get auto filled. I dodge or trade roles every time I get autofilled, I'm not gonna waste 60 minutes of my life to play something I hate to play. I remember the previously high queue times, it wasn't as bad because you knew your team would be half decent. If players want to queue quickly choose adc or support, but don't force me to play it.

Elimination of Free Rotation So this might be the most controversial, but I think it is the most necessary. Instead of making champs rotate every week, riot could make all the old champs that cost barely anything free. This would help new players master roles and champs faster than before. Some champs that should be unlocked are

Unlock Runes, Masteries, and Skills Players should have full rune pages, masteries, and skills unlocked at level 3 (when you can pvp), with a tutorial guide on how to use these abilities to your advantage. All level 2 masteries should be free and added to the account, since riot has been charging for level 3 masteries it wouldn't be fair to switch them now.

NA West / NA East servers As someone who was significantly effected by the server move (previously 10 ping is now 70+) it sucks that the server is so far away. It makes playing adc and champs that require quick reaction times very difficult to use as the lag is horrendous. Can we split the servers between the two? Riot still has the Portland server as a backup, lets start using it again!

I have alot of friends who stopped playing league because of these issues. Many of them would be willing to give the game a second chance if Riot did a major overhaul like the one I have outlined.
