The healthiest Meta? Theorizing...

Okay, this is going to be a discussion on the healthiest teamcomp/meta that League of legends could see, where every type of champion could be seen. Here's mine:

Top lane: Melee bruiser. They are a source of health for the team, peeling for the carries or diving the enemy carries, probably the former. They build mostly tank items with a few key offensive items. The Juggernaughts come to mind, bu more peel oriented.

Mid lane: Traditional mage. My definiton is a little odd, but here it is. A traditional mage is an immobile AP caster with hard to land, hard CC and overall skillshot reliant damage. Xerath and Brand are great examples. These mages provide a longer threat range than their AD coutnerparts, and can be safe on the shortest lane of the rift.

Jungle: Assassins. Assassins rely on killing enemies, so when they can hide in the jungle anre appear at a moment's notice, that tends to make things easier. And while they will be striving for the kills when it comes to ganking, they can snowball the lane with free farm time while the enemeis are dead. This would also present a challange of staying alive during objective control for smiting... I'm thinking Nidalee, Akali, Rengar (although he builds a little tankier)

Bot lane (support): Tanky support or utility mage. I would perfer a tanky support in bot lane to give the team another tank besides top lane to soak up damage. Utiltiy mages could also be placed here for heals and shields, and to take the peel role if the top lane is going to focus enemies down.

Bot lane (ADC): no changes. Ranged, AA relaint, attack damage carries. Preferablylong range and/or slippery ADCs who have self peel and mobility.

Obviously there can be lots of tweaks depending on what the team needs. If there isn't enough peel from other champions, the ADC would do well to have some self peel. If there is more tank than usual, an immobile hyper carry might do best, just as an example.

Imo this would be a very nice meta and allow many champions to flourish, it doesn't exclude any particular type of champion, and places each type in a position which covers its weaknesses.

Feel free to discuss below and share your own personal ideal meta.

Personally I found that the meta durign season 4 right before Ryze and Nid got buffed, jax got nerfed and ADC items got buffed to be one of the best. This was before Irelia was even a popular pick mind you.

That meta seemed to have a solid value on all roles. Top was important, mid was important, Bot was important and jungle still could influence the outcome of the game. The few things that were too strong could have been easily dealt with such as jax getting half the nerf he ended up getting.

It just seemed to have real value and impact for all lanes on the outcome of the game. Then everything changed when the ADC items were buffed. Top lane kind became less important and whoever won bot lane had a really good chance of winning the game.

We are currently in the most healthy and diverse meta we have ever been in. Never had this many viable champions. Love it.

Right after cinderhulk emerged and nerfed for the first time, and before 5.16.

That was my golden age where you can pick anyone and you'd win. Bans? Just ban whoever the hell you want because there is hardly anyone that you HAVE to ban to make a game playable.

But if in a merry utopia where everyone (and I literally mean, everyone) can be picked and win because of skill, and not because they are "better" by default... nope, Rito hates perfect balance, because then the balance team would have nothing left to do.

AND WHERE LULU SUPPORT ACTUALLY HAS A PRESENCE.
