What's your worst losing streak? What do you think caused it?

I'm just curious on other people's experiences. I recently, over the course of maybe a week or two, went from Diamond promos to Plat 5. Literally not doing anything differently, playing the same champs. I just can't seem to get a winning team this past week. Not tilted, not playing poorly. Scores still good outside of the games that are complete stomps for all lanes. Even the games I do well in we seem to lose late game even if we were doing well beforehand.

I don't want to blame it on luck but a big part of me feels like it really was just poor luck. I had it happen last season before Platinum as well where I fell back to Gold 5 getting unwinnable game after unwinnable game. Just seems to be a rite of passage for ranking up.

Actually you might be onto something. My Sej was 23-2 for a bit before I started getting some really hard matches. They might actually put people on extended win streaks with teammates that are on losing streaks?

Would object that. Never happened to me or anyone in my friendlist. And honestly it would make no sense aswell. I won 15 our of thr last 18 rankeda and i get plat1/2 teams against dia5/plat1 enemies but my teams play well

21 losses in normals (with 1 win in between), 19 losses in Ranked (with 3 scattered wins in between).

Matchmaking hates me, I was on tilt, and I'm in Bronze 5. It's acceptable to have a 10% win rate here.

last season 18 losses over 4 weeks, from 1 game away from winning plat promos to bottom of gold 3. Quit for 3 weeks, still kept losing.

I remember having a full history (10) games in a row, i think the streak was like 10-11 games in a row.

The reason? Well some if those games i fed, some of those games my team fed, i was also trying to learn yasuo at the time and i sucked at him. I remeber building yasuo full ap in a couple ofatches so i get more g out of my e lmao. I actually did great in some of mu yasuo games but team fed.

I lost around 14 games back in season 2, went from like 1200 elo to 950. Good times

i had a cho for 8 games in a row, kept losing to each and every one of them

i still keep telling myself i'll beat the next cho i'll face.

Major losing streak this week, and why?

Ignorant Teams, Toxic teams in Both Ranked Draft, and Normal Draft.

Simply said players who refuse to communicate as stated here in both modes

Then they get toxic when the Meta is broken or something goes badly in the game because of lack of proper communication, and just flat out trolling all together.

If players actually talked and listen pre-game instead of being jerks half of my losses or more would be wins.

After champion select other players usually start harassing in game chat, and I just have to mute everyone they all start yelling at each-other.

Last year was the same way until later during the year players behavior in general started getting better which is how I made it to s1, this year its really bad again.

When I was around level 12-15 I had this streak of 1 win and 14 losses, all as Vayne. I blame this on 2 things. One, I still hadn't really figured out Vayne's mechanics. Two, supports at that level are not hypercarry-proof (a word I've invented to mean able to keep a hypercarry like Vayne alive). Oh, and I also had enemy smurfs in almost every game. But that's not an excuse. Now I only play Vayne if I'm in a premade with a support I trust.
