Jungle is real rough right now, I get it, but...

If you've lost 3 drags in a row and each time you find yourself slowly doing krugs, it's not the xp changes to jungle. The jungle changes being Riot's usual brain-dead gambit doesn't excuse you to have not learnt the very basics of the jungle.

Unless top lane is the greatest player on planet earth, it isn't worth losing all the dragons to be close enough to hand out hugs to top lane 24/7.

And heads up, nobody wants to jungle, it's gonna be a fill role every once in a while. How on earth are people still acting surprised that at least someone in most matches is a fill?

You can't take dragons if mid and bot lane don't give you prio.

I can't count the amount of times we've wiped their team and instead of helping me do dragon my lanes go back to push to turret, so we don't get dragon.

It's not the jungler's job to solo dragon. When you do so, you're begging to get collapsed on at half health or less by a roaming lane or respawning jungle.

Except in most cases if you lose 3 dragons it’s because your botlane lost lane. Fun fact. Is your bot lane loses, you CANT do dragon. They will collapse on your ass 4v1 and collect 300 gold and a dragon.

it is, but it isnt.

it is BECAUSE laners have yet to adapt to the shift from Laners being dependent on junglers, to junglers being dependent on laners. The vast majority of laners are still under the impression its the junglers job to support them, but it isnt anymore. Its the laners jobs to support the jungler now, so that the jungler can support you back.

So, at a high levels of play, jungle is fine. Because the laners have adapted. Anything below low Diamond is a nightmare for junglers, because the laners dont understand that the game has changed, so while they are useless to you as the jungler, they are also prone to harassing you for not being there for them.

I exclusively fill, and it's been an odd transition over the past few seasons.

Now I truly get jungle roughly 60% of the time, ADC 20%, Supp 15%, and top/mid the remaining 5%. The solo lanes aren't surprising - top was a bit easier to get last season, and a lot easier to get two years ago, but this is the first time I've seen supp anything less than ~50% of the time. Jung/adc are really that miserable right now.

My main role declared as mid/ secondary jungle, getting 80% of the time Jungle role.

Sums up how this season has started.

If my mid and bot lane are losing 1v1 and 2v2 and have no ability to roam and help take dragon, that's not my fault. I can't run into the river without vision and risk getting collapsed on by 3 or 4 people.

I can only gank them so much, but if they still wanna die and continue losing after giving them kills and leads, I'm just SOL and have to try and trade for herald or go next.

Dragons/Herald/Baron are team objectives, not jungle objectives. Sure junglers can solo them (except Baron) but if the enemy team has brain cells and knows how to ward, I can't reliably take unless I can guarantee enemy isn't going to be able to move before my own team.

It pretty much comes down to either you skip krugs and play like you did last season, accepting you will be underleveled, while having higher map presence, or just permafarm and if the enemy jungler has successful ganks you lose and if they don't, they fall behind and you win. If both junglers permafarm it's which ever jungler has better laners wins.

The real fucked up part is that junglers can decide the entire game.

Jungle is only an unforgiving role, because for whatever reason people think that it should always be the jungle, who ganks the laners and laners don't need to "gank" the enemy jungler. Simply put people are never rotating. I thought I'd put this here. Guys, just help your jungler in his/her jungle.

The amount of times I've seen a jungler throw the entire match to lift up a losing top laner is depressing.

This is a change that happened quite a while ago though. Even before the jungler nerfs. There's just way too many junglers at Plat and below that are fixated on top lane.
