He already looks like he is going to have some kind of Invulnerable/Revive Ability on either his Passive or his Ult.
I really hope Riot was creative this time and the Champ won't have some brainless heals/revive/invulnerable BS like

And if you cant deal with these few characters then you are the problem, not the characters. The only one on that list that is ever really a problem at times is ekko. And thats one person.

Taric Counterplay: Kite/run away for like 2 seconds because thats how short it is.
Bard Counterplay: Side step. Dash. Or just deal with the invulnerability and you will still probably be fine.
Ekko Counterplay: MR, watch his shadow and make sure you arent in it.
Kindred Counterplay: Stay in her circle with your team and you are invulnerable too and get healed.
Cry more.

- has a long wind up, super telegraphed and he doesn't have good catch skills himself to it's hard to capitalize outside of a full premade.
- yeah, if you zonya your allies you're generally fucked. Super situational since after they unfreeze they will be in shit situation if they are priority targets.
- kick or barrel her out of it. then you get the buff and she gets dead. more kindred, more lee sin. everybody wins. basically you can steal her ult from her with correct play. Another steal method is to enter the zone with her and then time your burst to when it ends. She does not have any burst herself so she cant' do same to you.

That being said, I do hope his kit is an interesting one, but without needing yet another LoL-certified PHD to be able to use it.

The invilnerbility is simple to work around when you put your mind to it.
Illaoi's ult can be solved by you walking out of her ult circle.
Kindred ? Well jump in there with her and whittle everybody down, while Kindred hopes your team doesn't have better burst than hers, otherwise you win every time. A displacement effect to knock her or her team out of her circle is a pretty neat trick too.
Bard? A giant Zhonyas. Be glad they can't hurt you while your in it and it gives your cooldowns time to come back on.
Taric's ult needs timing and skill to pull off. If you see the circles of fabulous show up, disengage so he wastes it or burst his team down before it activates.
Ekko is just one person. Don't stand near his clone and you'll be fine.
Just because you don't care for a kit, doesn't mean its a bad kit or Riot needs to listen to you alone and delete the champs.
These champs are not a joke, just learn how to play around them or keep on complaining and lose to them everytime.

And i have already made a statement that the problem on Ekko is not the Damage, but the Heal+Invulnerablity on top of being able to Ult to a safe spot.

He is so much higher in rank than I am (aka better gameplay skill wise) yet complains more like a Bronze player (like someone in my rank) would. I just found that amusing.

TricolorStar1 votesThose champions force you to play around them and make the game more interesting. A lot of ults are just a steroid (
Vayne's **Final Hour **or 
Singed's Insanity Potion), which can be kind of boring to play around after a while. And these invulnerability ults seem similar on paper but are actually very different. Kindred's ult prevents damage and healing, which is a unique twist on invulnerability (and she can get hooked or grabbed out of her own circle), while Taric's ult has a 2.5 second channel (an eternity in League).
A lot of our new ults (Taliyah's Weaver's Wall and Ryze's Realm Warp come to mind) wouldn't have been possible two years ago or even last year, so I welcome some more crazy ults like Tempered Fate and Lamb's Respite and stuff. Ults like Highlander and Massacre seem really boring in comparison.
