Any information with regards to the Evelynn rework?

Curious as to why the champion is even up for a rework, when she feels like a diverse and balanced enough champion as it is. AD, AP, Tank, Bruiser, On-hit, she seems to be very flexible with regards to what she can do, which is what I love about her. Evelynn has helped me out substantially with ranked last year, and I (in addition to everyone else over at r/evelynnmains/ would be extremely disappointed if she follows suite with the recent releases of champions or updates that introduce some sort of overpowered gimmick that is eventually nerfed to oblivion. She does not need some unique gimmick or her entire kit changed. If something like this comes through and ruins this champion for me, I would feel extremely disappointed and alienated.
