Will we ever see a NON Void influenced Character ally/team up with a Void creature?

As long as there was a mutual benefit to prevent the two from attempting to kill each other, would we ever see two characters on different sides of the spectrum team up for a specific reason lore wise? Would be interesting seeing a pairing like VelKoz and Ryze traversing the Shadow Isle for magic/research purposes or Darius/KhaZix teamed up to defend against a threat that both cannot handle on their own.

The Velkoz and Ryze scenario I would especially like to see given both characters are powerful mages that could make themselves resistant to the Shadow Isle's mist. (Velkoz could even be immune to it due to his Void origin) It would also do a good perspective of the two characters, Ryze claiming how barren and sad the island is, whilst Velkoz only gives a scientific assessment of it, disregarding emotion and life in general.

Probably never; I imagine the Void wouldn't compromise. It'd rather just corrupt and consume everything. Everything on Runeterra is something the Void would rather destroy than anything else.

I feel as though Xerath would try, though both he and whatever void entity is working with him would probably be trying to backstab one another.

Kha-Zix would probably just try and eat Darius, but I get your point lol. It would be neat to have them team up. Honestly the best bet would probably be Vel-koz since he is the most intelegent. Most of the void creatures run on instinct, so it would make them teaming up more unlikely.

They do have a mental connection in some form, it was hinted at in Sol's bio.

but mostly because I wish to remind whatever intelligence that controls this Void incursion that nobody laughs at me in my plane of existence.

Clearly there is some sort of very basic hierachy when it comes to the void. The best analogy I can think of is the Locust from Gears Of War if you've ever played that series. There were many powerful Locust with their own consciousness but the Queen was still in control of all of them and had heavy influence over them as a whole.

Not only that, in this hierachy the lowest level voidborn like the ones u see from Zz'Rot portal and malz have been stated to have very primitive intelligence (Also taken from Sol's bio). How would someone be able to work with Rek'Sai? She just seems to feast on anything when she comes up to surface.

From the epicenter of the corruption, I feel a will… hungry and indomitable, and far from the typical mindlessness I’m accustomed to from these Voidborn aberrations.

So really the only chance of someone allying themselves with the void is to ally themselves with someone who can control the voidborn to not just attack things that are not their own, especially the ones that have very little intelligence. Not only that, the void don't seem to concern themselves with that or any politics. Just seems like destruction and eating are the only things on their mind, i don't think an alliance would really work with someone who has a tunnel vision to destroy and consume the world. You try going to a hungry Lion and ask it if you want to work together...

As for the black mist Mordekaiser has been able to take control of the black mist so powerful figures like Vel Koz and Cho'Gath, I don't see the mist completely subduing them. As for the others, I don't know how much the mist would really negatively affect them. Many of them are just "mindless" creatures who just want to terrorize runeterra so I imagine the mist would just heighten that effect and give them extra powers if anything.

The best I could imagine is a StarCraft-like scenario - in the lore, sometimes (usually the Terrans) would lure the Zerg to an enemy planet so that the swarm overruns everything and in the process eliminates the opposition. Basically, a non-Void character may direct and benefit from a Voidborn's action, but there's no real sort of control or alliance.

One possibility (and there's probably no real way this could possibly be canon; this is purely fan speculation): Xerath, with a mind-controlled legion, is marching towards Azir's palace. There's no way Azir's forces can hold off Xerath's army on their own, and reinforcements would arrive too late. However, the Sai is only a day's travel away, and in a desperate move to halt the enemy advance, one of Azir's scouts does _something _ to attract the Xer'Sai and Rek'Sai. The scout leads the Xer'Sai right into the path of Xerath's army, and the Magus Ascendant is forced to stop his advance as he suddenly has to deal with a swarm of voracious Vordborn in his way. This act buys Azir enough time for reinforcements to arrive and defend his palace, as well as severely weaken Xerath's army.

As it stands though, the Void doesn't seem to hold any allegiance except to itself. It corrupts or devours others, and perhaps it operates on such a different set of rules than Runeterra that it simply has no concept of alliances with outsiders. Lore of the Void is sparse, but from what can be gathered I highly doubt any of the Voidborn would willingly cooperate with any non-Void entities. It'd definitely be neat to see though, provided it makes sense for all the characters involved to do so.
