"Terror coming, Daddy coming" Who is Kogmaw referring to? (Void Lore)

One of Kogmaw's taunts refers to someone called "Daddy". Lore wise, we have no idea how Void creatures come to be, whether they're through a hive breeding system, each individual have some form of reproductive capabilities, or if they just come to be through unknown magical forces. As a matter of fact, very little in general is known about the Void, but as seen in Aurelion Sol's lore, there seems to be more unique and sinister void creatures waiting to enter Runeterra. (Credit to whoever posted this on Reddit, peaked my curiosity further)

A pulsing sickness lingers in the air. From the epicenter of the corruption, I feel a will… hungry and indomitable, and far from the typical mindlessness I’m accustomed to from these Voidborn aberrations. The pulsating wound on reality yawns and buckles, distorting and warping all it touches. Whatever exists on the other side is laughing.

Could this be a reference to Kogmaw's father? Could there be a hierarchy where only specific Void creatures are allowed to reproduce, or is there a hive mentality when it comes to such? (A queen?) So many questions that have not been elaborated on, which only increases the curiosity and lore of the Void even further.

Kassadin also had a daughter at one point if I recall correctly, but Malzahar tricked him into sending her into the void, not sure if that has been retconned out due to the lore revamp, but if not, what happened to her? Could she potentially turn into a Human-Void champion herself, or would she have become fodder for hungry Voidlings?

RekSai is treated as a queen and has numerous "Xersai" under her control, but very little is known about the Void and its laws in general. Whether they came through a rift with RekSai or if she somehow managed to reproduce by herself is unknown.

All these questions and I'm aware that a potential "Harrowing" may be coming since October is coming up soon, but if not, (or after) when could we expect some explanation and expansion to the Void creatures and Icathia? There's many unsolved mysteries and questions about the Void, and if Aurelion Sol, a galactic dragon that crafted many universes is intimidated by whatever sinister creature he sensed in the Void, should be we worried?

Kog'Maw has been talking about 'daddy' for quite some time now (whether it's of the sugar variety is yet to be determined)

Ah it feels like old times speculation about Kog's Dad and Kass's daughter now we need a post about the next champ (After Ivern) being Kat's dad

We've known that Kog'Maw has a father for some time now, as well as Kassadin's daughter.

If you ask me, these both exist in order to give riot a thread to use down the line.

Kassadin's daughter might not even exist anymore, I don't know if they did an update pass on him yet, and we've certainly not gotten any void update yet.

Edit: On that note, would love to see Kass's daughter come back and fuck shit up. Would be some nice lore stuff for Kass, too.

A while back, a Rioter made an offhanded comment about how the Void itself might be alive. It's possible that the Void is a sentient inter-dimensional being that spawns Voidborn out of itself. Or something. But couldn't Kog'Maw just be refering to Malzahar? That's what I would guess with no research into this.

Btw, honestly, Rek'Sai is more Shuriman than she is Void at this point. Xer'Sai are just a thing in Shurima. They have origins in the Void, yes, but they've been around for so long that I don't think most Shurimans really care where they came from.

Also, Kassadin's daughter was technically retconned out, but Riot has also never really updated Malz or Kass, so it's just as canon as they are.

I want there so badly to be Void lore soon. I want to see Cho'Gath be the menacing terror that he is. I want to see Kha'Zix hunting in his jungle domain. I want to see Malzahar running a god damn cult. I want to see Kassadin trying to warn others of the Void only for them to call him mad and then regret it later. There's so much potential for Void lore and I can't wait to see what Riot has in store.
