The new Jayce and Viktor lore makes me concerned for future lore updates

The fact that Viktor was turned into a blatant mary sue villian is ridiculous, and feels extremely alienating towards those players that were hoping for an expansion on his original lore, instead of ret-conning so much out and turning him into a redundant (Orianna) mechanical edge lord. (My free will "Kill them")

If this is the basis of character lore from now on, please do not visit any more in the future, I do not want other champions succumbing to this travesty.

It's only from Jayce's perspective. We have yet to see Viktor's.

I just want to leave a reminder here that the Viktor we've seen currently is from JAYCE'S perspective. It is way too early to jump the gun and say he's just a generic villain. After all, from the outside perspective, Jayce is seen as a cool hero dude. But now we know he's actually just kind of an asshole.

Give Riot some time.

Even with just Jayce's lore to go on. I wouldn't call Viktor generic.

Are you certain at this point people are not just making up reasons to dislike the new lore.
