Just picked up the new cassiopeia and oh boy she's so fun. I still have some trouble with here in some matches but hey she's not easy to play and I mean to practice her.
what I really found to be great with her is that she's almost the Vayne of the mages, in the sense that I feel like i do TONS of dps damage on poisoned tanks, more then any other mage.
Do you think that considering picking cass into a tanky team is a good idea?
Quepha2 votesYes, teams with tanks want to team-fight and Cass is extremely happy in traditional team fights with carries on each side and tanks in-between soaking all the damage.
Friendly Ram1 votesKinda. She can block the tanks engage and keep the team at arms length but her dps isn't usually enough to burst down tanks safely. If they gave her some actual range on the e it would be better.

However, cassios biggest weakness is getting burst down within cc as she has to get close to a fight with no direct defensive tools and low tankiness(follwoed by longrange poke as she lacks engage/high-range herself). A malph ult with proper followup for example could just destroy you befor you do anything. She's really good vs juggernauts and many divers though , she can deny their approach with W and ult and then just dps them down adc-style.
