I'm sure a ton of other people agree with me here, with the fact that mid turrets had the shield removed and bot and top turrets give 30 hp, why do they even have the shield in the first place?
Primary reason is it allows us to separate out the impact of the shields granted to champions from the shields on the towers themselves. We're interested in determining how much power, versus how much interesting gameplay, each of those grants. As a result we opted to substantially reduce one of them while leaving the other intact, thereby allowing us to better measure the effect of each.
I'm curious as to why the towers even fire at champions anymore. It's not like any of them care. ~Uiru
I'd rather buff the outer/inners back and nerf the inhib turret's damage to minions.
