When you're in lane and the enemy laner heavily counters you...

And no matter what, none of your teammates agree to switch lanes.

Do not duel. Do not fight where that laner has the advantage. Just freeze lane in front of your tower and farm.

and if you have 0 damage on their tower... repeatedly playing defensively(hiding under turret) will eventually lead to loss of lane

You're already at severe disadvantage. I can't give general advice on how to win bad match ups, I need specifics for that.

Indeed it will, but it also builds overconfidence in the other player and if you exploit any weakness in their play style and kill them once or twice it will tilt them. This happened in a game all I could do was sit under the tower and recall in bettween waves to heal from the pokes. But he overextended and a I took him down 3 times, and he left the lane to roam after the first tower was down (not mine I might add). The next two team fights I made it a point to target him specifically and took him down. Then it was all aboard the gravy train, if he saw me on screen he ran like hell even though 1v1 he probably had me beat.

"All I need is a little patiencs." Guns and roses

Smart, thanks for the tip!

It's better to slightly lose your lane after 20 min than to give 5 kills in 10 minutes and let your opponent roam to other lanes.

Did you never hear "lose lane, win game"? You should try playing Singed :p

If the enemy starts freezing on their side of the lane, just leave. You can base to heal, roam to help allies or farm jungle camps while waiting for the wave to unfreeze.

You are going to die if you overextend trying to farm (and miss the CS anyways), so just wait for the freeze to end.

They can't kill you if you aren't there.

And accept that you will be behind in cs and that later on in the game you can still get back in it if you take the appropriate steps to not feed your ass off (which is where your post here comes in).

if you are at an insurmountable disadvantage in your lane, your goal must be to attain basic core items and then make good plays elsewhere on map or participate in your jungler's plays on your side of map.

so either: you farm under tower and wait for a gank, you shove the wave fast take some damage and dissappear from lane to CJ or gank you get core items then abandon tower and return to lane periodically with jungler to suppress split push.

Learn the match up. There are tons of guides that will tell you how to deal with a champ who counters you. Often it is about playing it safe or baiting out a specific skill. Then read the guides for that champ where it talks about how they are going to stomp your champ. That way you'll know what he's going to try and do and have the potential to avoid it.
