Junglers are far too influential at all points of the game

Game starts, you are ready to win lane and help your team in fights. What happens at 2 minutes in the game? your jungler runs into your lane and dies to the enemy under his tower, then proceeds to blame you. Another 2 minutes go by and the enemy jg sej runs into your lane and cc's you into oblivion. You might have made it out but because you enemy laner has 20 ap on you from the previous jg feed he/she picks up the kill and proceeds to be 2-0 over you. Now that your opponent is 2-0 they go on to scale out the wazoo because we are in the snowball meta. You can't sit under tower and play safe because the tower is made of paper and hits like a wet noodle. The interesting aspect of the scenario I just detailed? It could be completely different if the junglers simply switched teams. Out of every game I have played this season, every single one of them was decided by the jungler of the team. I hear a lot that this is a "team game"... But how much of a team game is it when what you do doesn't really make a difference? Lets also not forget that 40-50 percent of the game happens 1 on 1 in laning phase when you aren't getting ganked, so this is a game with bursts of team play if anything.

I know that many are gonna downvote this as they are either a jungle main or can't actually see whats wrong with the current meta, but its wack. The only thing that slows the game down is stopwatch, and I don't want to have to take that on EVERY CHAMPION. You know what would fix all of the issues I just mentioned above? BETTER TOWERS! Double their damage early, add around 1000 health and boom, fixed. Its one thing for diving champs to be able to dive you early and get a kill, but even they should have to have some semblance of skill to do that and get out alive. mages, adc's, these roles shouldn't be able to do that, especially not at low elo.

When there are so many games out there grabbing for my attention, what is league going to do to try and draw me back in? Because right now going into a game and losing because you have little to no impact on it is not fun. It is synonymous with banging your head on a wall over and over again. In other "team games" at least my skill, (or lack there of) has an impact. Please bring that back. How can I improve and gauge whether or not im improving based on this mess of a game atm? the answer is, _I can't. _

I always start with a control ward in this meta. Ever since patch 7.22. Not feeding the enemy jungler or laner a kill at 3 minutes is more important, at least botlane, than having three health pots. How often do you get poked slowly out of lane over the course of minutes anyway? My games typically feature few engagements at all before the big all-in at 5 minutes.

I also like to watch my map and help out my jungler as much as possible because a fed jungler on my team gives so many advantages. One of the best of which is not getting jumped every time you try to cross your own jungle because the enemy support has warded it.
