Play Button greyed out

A couple of my friends are having this issue as well. if you quit out of a lobby the play button will go grey and will not change back no matter what you try. If another play tries to invite you it will not let you accept it, it will say "on hold". You have to restart the client to get it back. I just use legacy client now because this happens all the time.
