Two things that would be cool to see in future seasons

So while I think the transition of Summoner's Rift to live and all the changes to the jungle are going to take up a majority of this preseason, I got to thinking about some of the things I would love to see in future seasons of League of Legends that would seriously affect balance of champions and champion selection on teams. I just thought I would introduce these ideas and see what people thought about them.

The first is minion behavior in lane. Currently, auto attacks draw minion aggro the same was a turret does; if the target of the auto attack is within the attack range of the turret, the turret and minion will target the aggressor. This is fine, but it gives a VERY serious advantage to casters in the lane phase, which is not fine in my opinion.

I would propose making targeted, single target spells draw turret and minion aggro. Since this damage is just as unavoidable as an auto attack, and often hits much harder in the laning phase, this seems fair. I realize this would unbalance a lot of champions, but I think evening the battlefield with this change is more important, and those champions could be compensated for the change.

The second change I would like to propose is some sort of benefit or penalty for selecting champions based on lore. Its difficult to explain this one without some examples, so I'll go on. Based on lore, Lucian and Thresh are arch enemies. Why then, are we seeing so many lanes with the two of them working together? Lucian should never consent to take Thresh's dark passage, and should be aiming for Thresh from the very start. Similarly, a team made up of Jarvan, Xin, and Garen should have a benefit because they are all officers of the same military.

I think that as the number of champions in the game has increased to the point that it has, we will begin to see different champions and different combinations if there were incentives to pick Ashe and Anivia (just an example) on the same team. Now, I don't think there should be incentives to counter a champion in champ select (Lucian shouldn't get any buffs for playing against a Thresh), but using lore synergy to make champions that exist in Runeterra together stronger when played together doesn't seem too outlandish.

In the extreme, picking Lucian would mean that Thresh couldn't be picked on the same team. However, I realize that this would not be the healthiest mechanic.

Anyways, these are thoughts about directions I would like to see League of Legends go and I welcome discussion about it (otherwise, why would I post? =p)

Nothing to with the post, but Ashe and Anivia have a small reason for each to be picked together. Ashe's R applies the Frost debuff to targets hit, meaning Anivia can immediately E for the bonus damage.

I didn't really think about that, mostly because if ashe arrow hit someone, anivia's ulti would be on them before an E connected anyway, but you're right.

Though I was more referring to some kind of buff as an incentive to have the two on the same team. Thresh- Lucian lane is picked because their kits work really well together, but from a lore point of view, Lucian should be fighting on the other team.
