Lets nerf Rageblade for all melee champions
But make it even better for the only champs who actually were abusing it like Kayle and Kog Maw. Way to listen to the low elo kids who can't lane vs Jax or try to 1v1 Xin Zhao, Riot.

For all melee champs? only jax ,xin and yi used rageblade.
The only people that are going to use it now are the people with powerful onhits. So yes to the Kog and Kayle, but Trist has no reason to buy it. On the other hand, its great for champs like Yi, Aatrox, tank Ekko, Shyvanna any melee with a 3 hit passive / good on-hit / AAs alot. Also, its not linked to a jungling item anymore so solo lane variants of these champs can buy it.
I just don't get why you thinking they're nerfing it just for melees. Yes the item is different, but its not favoring ranged OR melees, just slightly different champs.
Also, the Rageblade BORK builds will probably be fairly strong
