Riot and Singed Directions

I've seen his name dropped a few times by Riot as a champ that doesn't fit any subclass and has kind of fallen to the wayside. He playable but not OP to some (myself included) and most would even consider weak due to his kit being so out of the current meta.

So does anyone have any solid Information on Riots current view of Singed? I'm not of the view that he needs a huge rework but just a small revamp to bring his kit up to date. With the MYMU coming out I'm guessing that the new itemization will help him out but I still feel he needs addressing.
