About Sivir

I really don't understand this:

Sivir has low range, low health and low damage (after nerf Q) at early game. So why do I should to pick her, when I can pick Lucian? More damage, more health.

Sivir is a very dangerous pick because she become strong at level 6, but is very difficult with her without die one time or losing a lot of cs.

I think she need more health in early game.

Sivir has amazing farm, and one of the best wave clears in the game, when you combine her Q and W. I usually like to start with W, because it's cheaper (mana-wise), and it does more total damage per wave. She's also a great chaser. If/when she can go on the offensive it's hard to get away from her, even for mobile champions like Lucian.

She's not quite as good as she used to be, but she's still a solid pick, and has also gained a bit of a boost with the introduction of the Essence Reaver item, which synergizes with her kit extremely well.

Sivir has strong waveclear, strong teamfighting, strong utility, and a high skillcap.

Lucian too except utility, and he has a better early.

Except Lucian's waveclear still isn't as strong as Sivir's is and his ult doesn't grant the same team-utility that Sivir's does (that ult can make a huge difference in 5v5 teamfights). He has his own strengths, which only superficially seem to overlap with Sivir's. Sivir is still the best at what she does, but that doesn't mean she couldn't use a bit of a buff to better fill her unique niche.

Personally, I think the CD on her ultimate needs to be lowered, and the falloff of the speedboost it grants needs to be buffed, so that it maintains better speed for a longer period.

She honestly doesn't need much else to be quite competitive.

A champion with high risk in early game cannot be competitive.

Dr. Mundo being a low risk early game champion?

Yes, but however he has a way to farm in safe range. Sivir is constantly in dangerous zone, but np. I have no problem beause I don't pick her if she don't get a small buff early.

I disagree with t he assertion that Sivir is constantly in danger. In my experience her slightly shorter range isn't that much of a hindrance, particularly since she has higher base movement speed than alot of other marksmen, augmented by her passive whenever she takes a shot. Plus, with her damage potential, she can fairly easily win trades with alot of enemy marksmen/supports who get too aggressive and try to zone her.

What precisely do you mean regarding that? Are you saying that Sivir has a high risk early game? I'd be interested to know how you came to that conclusion, as I honestly do not see it at all. Of all the marksmen I play, Sivir probably has the best early game. Certainly better than Caitlyn with her lack of real escapes, and high mana costs, or Ashe who's main power comes from having max points in her Q or W, or from good uses of her ultimates. Yet all three of these champions are still quite competitive.

Or did you mean something else entirely?
