Is it even worth it to play ranked?

Hi, I'm a level 21 who is I guess ok at being a noob. I've been watching a friend solo in ranked for a while now and I from what I gather it's almost impossible to win as a solo. The team coordination on the enemy team is always too good and his team always flames him. Even when he does well (he's a support main) they still end up losing by some weird reason. For example, in one of his games got a level 11 pentakill. And they lost. Are all ranked games this bad or is there a way out?

Not impossible to win solo but it's not fun either. And ranked this season doesn't really mean anything because you can play in premade so those borders you get are worthless.

So for my personal opinion, if you're a masochist then go for it otherwise I recommend not playing ranked.

I played ranked last season to get an idea of where my skill level was. This year with dynamic queue being implemented, it's really not a good place to find that out. Ranked is filled with 3 and 4 man premades, especially when you're a solo. It's more of a roll of the dice at whose premade is better skilled/works together better.

Personally i'm not motivated to play ranked, but plenty still are. A lot more groups are playing ranked now since they have that ability.

It's not that you can't win, it's just that the stress is not worth in the long run, i would say after playing for 3 seasons. This season has really ruined the game, so most opinions will be negative, League is said to be reaching a peak in popularity, or decline, and most content creators have quit. We will see what next season brings.
