I've just noticed that after buying that ONE & ONLY gold item(Coin & Relic Shield were removed in this mode. Why except FrostFang, I dunno), the amount of gold I receive after each round gets significantly reduced. Welp, so much for racking more gold for my very 1st time to get 6 full items moment.
Cybernetic Ghost1 votesWell if you were paying attention to the stages of the game mode, you would know that a fixed amount of gold is granted at the end of each round, so gold-generating items are useless.

That was posted repeatedly in the days leading up to the launch of Invasion, once we knew what the gamemode would be like.
