How to be less toxic in games

Mute them, really. Best way to go. Or you can do what I do, since it is easier to work together when you can talk, and the chat is good for things like summoner spell cooldowns, dragons, etc., and just make the chat box really small so you have to really focus on reading what has been typed. Or you can bind your open chat key (typically the enter button) to a key that is harder to reach when your in the middle of qwer-ing.

But if one person is being really toxic, mute them.

Muting is not a solution at all.

I personally don't give a fuck if a person says bad things. What I DO care about, is if that impacts the gameplay.

Sure, muting them protects you from toxicness, but that does not prevent the fact that the guy being toxic is AFK typing in lane, or base, and getting himself tilted and barely playing.

True, but I took the OPs post as ways to for they themselves to be less toxic. It's hard to rage type at someone when you can't seeing what they're saying.

Now if they want ways to make other people be less toxic, there unfortunately isn't any. Just to report them at the end of the game.

See that's the problem. Reports don't refund my LP loss I had no control over.

And yes I know this is one of the biggest, most likely unsolvable problems in League of Legends.
