Nohing much to say here. This is way too hard to get comeback after early game mistakes and you're even making it worse by this "fb turret" thing.

What confuses me is why fortification on the botlane tower was removed. If botlane gets ganked in the laning phase and both the ADC and support dies the botlane tower can more easily be destroyed now.

to curb laneswapping in the lcs. if one turrets harder to take down, it's not a turret pushing race. it's whoever happens to be bot in the laneswap

Wouldn't it make more sense to remove fortification from the toplane towers though? If botlane gets ganked and loses hard then 3 people hitting the botlane tower is a lot more impactful then 2 people hitting the toplane tower :c

Removing the fortification from top tower would benefit the team who swapped their members top. You'd have a huge advantage in pushing power whenever you swapped to top because of the reduced tower durability and risk reinforcing laneswaps. It's more likely that you would see both lanes swap top and the 2v2 lane become top in pro play, but it also creates a weird situation around Drakes.

Fortification only lasts for the first 7 minutes to begin with. Where the Jungle camps spawn at I think 1:40. That would give the Jungler about 5 minutes to actually start their first clear, And gank Bot lane. Realistically less to give time to actually make use of that lost fortification. Also, A bot lane gank will be harder to pull, two champs means two trinket wards, meaning more vision.

More often than naut, I'd guess the actual effect isn't noticable, except when your pulling that lane swap.

Could be worse. You could lose gold with every death.
