It doesn't matter how much armor I build, it doesn't matter how fed I am, it doesn't matter how bad they are... I just lose. And if I don't literally one shot them, then they just lifesteal everything back up and kill me. I don't understand what counterplay AA spammers have.
So what do I do when someone right clicks menacingly at me? Just bend over and take it?

reduces crit dmg by 20% there are plenty of items to keep you alive you just need more than just tank items to kill someone you need a teammate unless your playing an assassin then its braindead easy to kill an adc while they are alone

As an assassin, I have to literally one shot them (which is hard to do if not impossible) or they just turn around, auto me twice, and walk away with a kill.
Pandemic Punch2 votesA tank isn't meant to kill an ADC late game. Tanks are basically supports who CC and soak damage for their team. If you are playing tanks to get kills, then you are doing it wrong.

Hotaru is Waifu2 votesi have a really hard time buying that you build those items and still "instantly die" adcs will kills tanks over time because thats what they are meant to do but they cant burst tanks at all you need a team to help kill a champ or an assassin champs like

that's what a team is for. In a straight 1v1 an ADC loses to most champions in the game as long as the levels and gold are even, the ADC does not outplay the other person, and the other person builds to counter the ADC. It's when you start getting an ADC and allies that it really becomes an issue.
Niyume1 votesIt's not that I do no damage, it's that I do chunky damage, rather than high sustained damage. They heal over time, so between my bursts of damage, they just go back to full health and I die.
Some champs like Urgot are tanky while dealing good sustained damage on top of little bursts, so he can deal with ADCs pretty well, but most champs have little windows where they do damage, and then fall off until the next window. Sustained healing LOVES that.
And I don't really think ADCs can lose a 1v1 past like 20 minutes -- some champs are exceptions, but most just lose.
