how is making one class unviable and just having more top laners in the game diversity? it's the complete opposite, who the hell was like, we should have irelia, yasuo, wukong, zed, darius, aatrox, talon, and rengar in every game?
With Mages you mean.
marksmane are not unviable in any way. Not only did some find themselves an even harder carry role with funneling (what was basicly replacing the actual jungler for a secound support), some of them can still be played on bot if they scale quick enough or you stomp had enough.

It's not diversity. It's bot lane diversity. As the slime of marksmen did spread across the map, now ye shall reap as ye have sewn. Crit adcs had the last year and then some. It's their turn in the dumpster.
