When you get "OUTPLAYED" on Aatrox

By your own freaking passive not popping the revive more times than are countable, its just becoming more annoying than anything.

Theres so many easy fixes to bring up the QOL of this guy

Make the passive DECAY SLOWER when out of combat

OR

Make the abilities grant 25% fill of the blood well instead of 20%

Either or both of these changes would atleast make aatrox somewhat viable. Right now this mini rework / hotfix has done nothing but cripple him

Maybe you're just bad/not used to it and aren't skilled enough to proc your passive?

It already has a 100% uptime in combat.

correction is has 100% uptime as long as you OR an enemy hit one another within the 4 second window of it turning off.

Any opponent with half a brain will disengage till it turns off. If you stay in combat with minions / monsters the passive still falls off.

So your analysis is wrong. Please come back when you are more informed

That's pretty much the same thing.

Aatrox has a knock up + decent dash and a slow. Dissengaging when he gets his passive procced is the correct counterplay. There's also mind games around how long will you wait to proc it, will you look for them to waste their dashes on damage, etc.

It's called 'counterplay'. It's a good thing.

Not if you stack counterplay on heroes who already had them anyway why others just do whatever they want. Too much counterplay and you don't get a chance to do anything.

You have a dash+knockup and a slow, as well as the ability to precisely control when to proc your passive. It's fine the way it is (although I personally don't love it, it's not a bad system by any means)

What do you want to tell me? His Jump and slow have also counterplay. Whats wrong here? So many heroes can just cheese their way through toplane without having much counterplay while riot reworks aatrox who had already a lot of counterplay and gives him even more.

That's honestly not true, if you think there are many champions who can faceroll and win top lane you just aren't trying hard enough, or are playing Nasus or Wukong or something weak early.
