diamond players also find yasuo's windwall cancer, but they know that there are multiple ways to deal with it else yasuo would have been broken with 60% win rate

Once you hit diamond you will slowly start to realise how much impact meta actually has and will want to ban what can singlehandedly make you lose the game. if you are like me, you will continue to ban yasuo because fuck this champ and his 20% pickrate. I'm just not willing to ever see him in any of my games again, i just get tired of these champs. Same as i banned riven despite pretty mcuh winning every lane against her or fiora after her nerfs because im sick of fiora every game. Right now i had my share of yasuo and am not willing to play against him. Unfortunately so much shit is overpowered right now that its hard to justify banning him. Still, your concerns are valid. Something being frustrating to play against is almost always universally applicable no matter the elo.

Yeah... knowing how to deal with it doesn't make it less cancerous.

When a diamond player gets outplayed by windwall, they don't type "/all wtf that shit is cancer gg op champ". They think "Congrats, me, you played yourself."
You wouldn't try to 1v1 a 7 sphere Syndra as a marksman; that's just stupid. Why would you channel bullet time at a non-CC'd Yasuo with windwall up?
Most diamond players act like they know shit when they really don't, they just get to act that way because of their elo.
As long as you complain about Windwall being cancer, you'll never reach diamond ;).

Once you hit gold you’ll see a lot less Yasuos and Yasuo bans

THe windwall is also the main reason about why many people dont want to see 
getting buff of any form.
