That botlane is still the only fucking lane that matters? If they get fed you can just group with them and its a free win but if they feed you can't do anything because they have control over the dragon

Yeah right. Then the enemy jungler makes sure his Camille/Irelia is fed and completely invalidates bot lane.
Bot lane is irrelevant atm. The jungler and solo laners have way more impact.
Yep. Why I've stopped playing rank a while ago and don't really play this game anymore. The whole rigid "meta" system of you HAVE to have marksman bot with support every single game is ridiculously stale and boring and results in a constant power monopoly for that role every single game. It also just makes the game way less diverse and interesting than it could be. There aren't many varying drafting strategies possible, the game plan is always supremely similar, there are always only a handful of viable "meta" champions in every role, (even more obvious in pro play) etc.
It doesn't have to be this way. Other mobas have super varied pools of viable champions and roles available but for some reason riot and the league base of players seem to stick to this stale forced meta.
Well, it's not like 80% of the fucking team gets a lot of gold there or anything.
ADC and support go there as their lane. That means nearly half of the fucking team is there. Even completely disregarding scalings or map layout, botlane alone automatically matters more than top or mid individually due to it being two people instead of one.
Mid roams there for kills. Jungle goes there for kills and help with drake. That's now four people influenced by botlane, instead of just two. Literally only top doesn't interact there directly.
And that's before you take into account that most ADCs are late-game champions, while most of the rest of the map is early and mid oriented, meaning they just need a kill or two before they're fine on their own.
The only time botlane will stop being a priority is when ADCs and supports start heading mid or top instead of bot, because you cannot physically make 1 person more important than 2 and have the game also be fair. Get the fuck over it. It's not happening. Your singular champion will never be worth more than two champions together.
